BayPort Residence Inn was first established in the early 1990s, born from a simple belief: travelers to Dominica deserved a place that felt like home. Not a hotel room. Not a resort. A real, liveable space — with a kitchen, a view, and someone at the door who genuinely cared.
For over two decades, families, business travelers, and adventurers from around the world made BayPort their base for exploring the Nature Isle. Word spread — not through glossy brochures, but through the kind of recommendation only satisfied guests can give.

In 2015, the BayPort Group acquired the property with a clear vision: preserve what made it special, and thoughtfully elevate the rest. New furnishings, modernised kitchens, upgraded technology — all without losing the soul of the place.
